The Constantinople Year, 1888
In 1888, Ivan Aivazovsky arranged an exhibition at the Russian embassy in Constantinople to raise money for the city’s Armenian population. That same year, he painted the picture and was awarded the Ottoman Order of the Medjidie by Sultan Abd ül-Hamid II.

If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex; to Sweden and the rest of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest pickup point!
