The story behind the motif
Poster with the letters from the Princes flower alphabet by Ottilia Adelborg from 1892. Ottilia Adelborg was a famous Swedish artist and writer who has become known as the creator of the Swedish children's book.
The poster The flower alphabet of the princes (1892) also became a Christmas calendar and book with a rhyme for each letter. In 1894, she also published the poster Blomstersiffror med rime, which was just as loved.
