Det blir ett färgstarkt blomstertåg och en högtidlig blomsterfest där alla får sin plats och sin roll. Berättelsen är som en sagolik hyllning till sommaren och naturen, sedd ur ett barns blick.
Elsa Beskow (1874–1953) var en svensk författare och illustratör som blev en av landets mest inflytelserika bilderboksskapare. Beskow var känd för sina varma skildringar av barn, hem och natur.
