An Artist's Gathering, also known as "A Meeting of Artists", is one of Johansen's most celebrated works and offers a fascinating insight into the life of an artist during his time. The painting depicts a group of artists gathered to discuss and socialize.
Johansen was part of the artist group "Fynboerne" or "Fynboerna," which played a significant role in the Danish art scene during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Their art is characterized by a deep anchoring in the Danish countryside and an effort to capture the authentic lifestyle and landscape of the island of Funen.

We deliver to the entire world and always offers free shipping! Depending on which country you are shipping to, the delivery may mean that certain customs fees and taxes are added - there is no duty or tax on deliveries within, for example, the EU, USA or Norway.
The delivery time is normally about 5-7 working days within the Nordics as we make our canvases by hand in our factory in Sweden and that the canvas fabric needs to dry before we stretch them on a wooden frame and send them to you.
If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex, to Sweden and other parts of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest agent!
