The story behind the motif
Poster with a painting from 1891 by Erland Heurlin (1865-1947) who was a Swedish draftsman and architect, and was active during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
The painting shows a cityscape of Stockholm, specifically at the Vasa Bridge with Strömbadet in the background. We can see some people in period clothes as well as a horse-drawn carriage, which gives a nice depiction of city life during the late 1800s.
