The story behind the motif

Poster with a vintage photograph from 1926 at Smögen, a popular coastal resort located on the coast of Västra Götaland in Sweden. 

The photo shows a lively scene where several fishing boats are moored at the quay. Workers load and unload goods on the quay while the sails on the boats are furled. This photo captures a typical working day in a Swedish coastal town from the beginning of the 20th century.

The picture was taken in Sweden in 1926.
