The story behind the motif
A unique drawing of Sandhamn's inner lighthouse, from 1877. On the picture we see the text: " Drawing for the elevation of Sandhamn's inner lighthouse. The elevation: 10 feet. Future height difference between the lighthouses: 16 feet ."

The original drawing is signed in January 1877, Stockholm by the Lighthouse Engineer office by Von Heidenstam. The text further down the picture highlights that the increase took place in main agreement with this drawing in the same year.
