The story behind the motif

A unique poster with a beautiful, colorful advertising poster from the year 1927. The advertisement is for the Sparbanken , which can be seen through the text: That's how we have it - and we have money at the Sparbanken .

When the first savings bank opened in Gothenburg in 1820, the idea was that "everyone should be able to build their own economy in order to be empowered to improve their conditions". This is illustrated by the image of a couple in period clothing standing and looking at a red house with white knots. This house is thus what they should have .
