The story behind the motif
Poster with a vintage advertisement for Pix lozenges , today known as Läkerol. The company Pix AB published the advertisement on December 10, 1923 with the text: Sold everywhere in vest pocket format. Price 25 and 50 öre.
In 1897, Ericsson and Rabenius founded a candy factory in Gävle, which since 1919 was transformed into Pix AB. The lozenges that we know today as Läkerol were mainly made there. In 1975 Pix became a subsidiary of F. Ahlgren's Tekniska Fabrik AB and in 1953 the first cars rolled out of Ahlgren's.
