Next Door to the News Flow
From 1939, KG Kristoffersson ran the picture agency Svenskt Bildreportage on Vasagatan, right next to Klara's newspaper district of the time. When the picture was taken around 1950, he was therefore working in the very environment where morning and evening papers' demand for new images generated assignments every day.

Poster with a snapshot of Stockholm in the 1950s. It's a rainy day and two women try to avoid getting wet by holding newspapers over them. An advertisement is clearly visible for the Belgian moped Flandria Sport. The year is 1953.
