The story behind the motif

Canvas with motifs from John Bauer's famous painting Tuvstarr and Skutt i Skogen from 1913. Princess Tuvstarr rides the elk bull Skutt in the forest. The moon shines in the dark sky.

John Bauer is known for his fairy tale motifs with trolls and princesses and he has had a great influence on Swedish folklore and storytelling. The painting was an illustration for the Tale of the moose bull Skutt and the little princess Tuvstarr by Helge Kjellin.

If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex; to Sweden and the rest of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest pickup point!
